How do I upload my students' submissions from Google Classroom?
This video walks you through the process of uploading student submissions from Google Classroom. We cover the steps from selecting your class to grading the assignments, ensuring you have everything you need to get started. We also highlight the importance of choosing the right rubric for your assignments.
Step 1: Click “Import” button
- On the home page, click the “Import” button under “Import from Google Classroom”
Step 2: Sign into your Google account
Step 3: Select a class
- From the dropdown, select a class
- Press Next button
Step 4: Select assignment
- From the dropdown, select an Assignment
- Press Next button
Step 5: Select submissions
- Select student submissions to be uploaded. Note the select all submissions option.
- Press Next button
Step 6: Select rubric
- From the dropdown, select the rubric used to mark assignments
- Press Next button
Step 7: Select grading details
- From the dropdown, select the language that essays will be assessed on
- If you click More assignment options you will be able to:
- Add the instructions or prompt given to your students
- The ability to upload the source material such as the book the essay is written about
Step 8: Essays are graded
- Watch the status the newly uploaded essays turn from queued to ready
- Once ready, you will see the grade assigned
