How do I run AI detection on an essay I have submitted for grading?

AI detection is available to Pro and Premium subscribers. You will have the opportunity to upgrade from within the AI detection tab in the feedback report, should you wish to do so in order to access this feature.

• When you upload an essay, AI detection is automatically run for Premium plan subscribers. Pro plan subscribers will need to initiate AI detection for each individual essay when reviewing the feedback report.

• Within the assignment page you can see the Essay Dashboard with a list of all previously uploaded essays. You can click on an individual essay to open the feedback report.

• You'll have your tabs—the Feedback report, the Grammar report, AI Detection, Plagiarism, and Comments. If you click on AI Detection, it has already been run (Premium only) or you'll have the opportunity to run it (Pro only).

• Our detector provides a confidence level that the text is written by AI.

• The results of AI detection provide you with an opportunity to take a closer look and evaluate the writing on the basis of what you know of the student, their writing style, and comparisons to prior submissions.
