How do I interpret the results of the AI detection tool?

To interpret the key details of a detection results page note the following:

Outcome: This provides the overall assessment of whether the text is more likely written by a human or AI, based on the analysis.
Detection Summary: The percentage indicates the likelihood that the text was written by AI. It also shows how many sentences were flagged as likely AI-written versus the total number of sentences.
Detection Breakdown: Lists sentences (if any) identified as AI-written. A higher number of flagged sentences increases the likelihood that AI was used.

Users can use this information to assess the extent of human or AI involvement in the text. It is not a guarantee but rather a guide to the teacher to look more closely and make their own evaluation.

Grades assigned by the AI do not take AI detection results into account.
