How do I delete a class?

This video walks you through the steps to delete a class in our system. First, you need to delete all essays associated with the class, which we demonstrate using a sample class. We also show how to select multiple essays at once for easier deletion. Please make sure to confirm the deletion, as it is a permanent action.



Step 1: Click on Teaching, and then click on Classes from the dropdown.



Step 2: Click on the name of the class you would like to delete.



Step 3: In order to delete the the class, you must delete the essays in the class first. Click on the checkbox beside Status to select all of the essays in the class.

Then, click on the Delete button to delete all of the essays selected.



Step 4: A confirmation modal will pop up asking you to confirm you want to delete the selected essays. Click the Yes, delete button to confirm.



Step 5: Once all the essays have been deleted, the Delete button for the class will become available, which you can then click.



Step 6: You should see the feedback that the class was successfully deleted. It will no longer appear in your library of classes.
