# When does my 'essays left' count reset?

The number of essays you can grade each month depends on the subscription level you have purchased.

* Basic (free) – 50
* Lite – 100
* Pro – 350
* Premium – 800

You can see the number of essays that you have already used on the [Plans & Billing](https://app.essaygrader.ai/account?tab=subscription) tab of your Account Settings page. In the screenshot example below, the teacher has used 5 of their 800 available essays and still has 795 uploads available for the month.

The total available resets to the plan maximum on the **1st of each calendar month**.

|| Please note that any uploaded essay will count towards the total for the month. However, if you choose to 'Edit & Regrade' essays already uploaded, these do not currently reduce the total that you have left.
