As a teacher, you know that we all have different learning styles. Many of us are visual learners who would rather be shown how something works than to read about it. But everyone benefits from a brief overview of a detailed topic, which is why one of our longtime teachers and power user Sammy has put together a set of video demos.
These 30 second to 2 minute long demos provide a high level overview of the key processes that will move you through the grading workflow from your first view of the Version 4 homescreen to exporting your essays to your LMS or to a digital file.
Below each video we will provide a link to an article in our Step-by-Step Walkthrough that covers much of the same material in greater depth.
The videos and their respective in-depth companions are as follows:
- Video – Navigating the EssayGrader version 4 Home Screen → Step 1 - Become familiar with the Home screen
- Video – Creating a rubric → Step 4a – Create a rubric (upload/import or build from a template) | Step 4b – Create a rubric (build with AI or from scratch)
- Video – Uploading essays and adding source material → Step 5 - Upload essays, add source materials, and choose grading settings
- Video – Reviewing the Essay Dashboard and feedback report → Step 10 - Review the graded essay list | Step 11 - Review the feedback report
- Video – Exporting grading feedback → Step 13 - Export grading feedback (printed copies and digital PDF) | Step 14 - Export feedback reports in bulk to PDF | Step 15 - Export feedback to Google Classroom and Canvas
