Can I use EssayGrader to detect AI writing and plagiarism?

Yes! Built-in tools detect both AI-generated content and plagiarism (currently rolling out to smaller user groups at a time), flagging issues for teacher review (Pro and Premium plan subscribers only).

AI detection is available on Pro and Premium plans, but automatic detection is only available to Premium subscribers. Pro subscribers will need to manually trigger the detection scan when reviewing the feedback report.

Plagiarism is currently checked against all essays uploaded to your account to ensure that your students are not copying off each other. Global checks against publicly available academic material is planned for the near future.
