# Can I upload handwritten essays?

Yes — handwritten work can be uploaded to EssayGrader. The easiest way is to scan the pages into a single PDF file.

If the essay is only one page, you can also use your computer’s webcam to capture it directly.

||| The webcam option only works for single-page essays. For longer essays, scan all pages and combine them into one PDF before uploading.
