How do I pause my subscription?

We get it - there are times where you are not grading and need to take a break from EssayGrader. We've added the pause functionality to help with this.

Only monthly plans can be paused at this time. Yearly plans are already discounted based on average usage.

To pause your plan, follow these steps:

Visit the account page: https://app.essaygrader.ai/account
Scroll down to the "Pause subscription" section (shown in the screenshot below).
Click "Pause subscription" and follow the steps.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Can I purchase a monthly plan instead of yearly?

We offer a significant discount on yearly plans, since grading is seasonal and there are periods when it may not be required.

However, you have the flexibility to purchase a monthly plan at any time. Use the toggle above the plans (shown in the screensbot below) to view monthly pricing options.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If you are not happy with EssayGrader, we will refund the last month for monthly plans, and a pro-rated amount for any yearly plans (based on the time left on the yearly plan).

How do I upload multiple essays at once?

||| You need to be on a Pro or Premium plan to upload multiple essays at once.

Step 1: Click “Upload” button

On the home page, click the “Upload” button under Upload essays.

Step 2: Select where you want to import files from

Fill out mandatory fields (indicated by red asterisk)
Under Upload essay(s) section, the default option is select files
Click the icon based on where you want to upload essays from

Step 3: The following step will cover if My Device, Google Drive, or OneDrive is selected.

If My Device is selected, your File Browser will open where you can navigate through your folders and files. Here you can select one or multiple files.

If Google Drive is selected…
You will be prompted to sign into your Google account. Click Sign in with Google to proceed

How do I regrade essays?

You may regrade essays that have already been uploaded. The video below walks you through the process of regrading an essay that has already been evaluated. In it, we demonstrate how to access the graded essays on your dashboard and show you the steps to adjust the score and feedback. An additional step-by-step explanation follows the video below.

${frame} Step 1: Click on the ellipsis inline with the essay you want to regrade. Then click Re-grade.

Step 2: A modal will appear where you can change the rubric and grading intensity, but the default values will be what was previously selected.

|| ** Note**: Currently, the easy, normal, and strict grading intensities change the tone and vocabulary used in the feedback. It does not affect the scores given. || * Easy is designed to give more encouraging feedback that is easier to read feedback for elementary students. || * Normal is geared towards feedback for middle school. || * Strict is for a high school/college audience.

Then click Re-grade.

Step 3: You will see the feedback that the essay is successfully queued to be regraded.
